We love hiking. The amazing walks through God’s breathtaking creation and nature, especially in the Bay Area where our church is, never fails to bring us closer to God and His love. Not to mention, it is probably one of the most COVID-safe activities we can do in this season as well 🙂
On a nice chill Saturday morning, 25th Sep 2021, a bunch of LLL’ers gathered to hike Crystal Spring and Dean Trail. We welcomed new friends and began with a prayer by Pastor Ben, and we embarked on a ~3mile hike with lots of snacks, chats, and photos. 🙂
We saw redwoods, poison oaks, dried rivers, and experienced the cool morning temperatures of Northern California, and had a chance to meet one another face-to-face after one too many zoom meetings and services 🙂
At the end, we had a fellowship of fruits, snacks, and meaningful ‘fortune cookies’ with the Lord’s proverbs that left each one of us in deep reflection.
