The pictures cannot capture the amazing experience we had in this hidden treasure of the Bay Area. God provided truly perfect weather – 60deg temp, cloud cover, sun peeking through, azure skies otherwise – and delightful company.
LLL’ers and our friends & family turned up in full gear to walk with the Trinity into the marshlands where we witnessed the perfectly synchronized flight of herons, chased the Cattails blowing in the breeze… and then ventured onto the mountains where we rode the ridge between waters and the skies, marveled at the sight of San Francisco and Santa Clara mountains all in one view… and finally edging past flocks of turkeys frolicking in the bushes to emerge back at the visitor center where we had learnt about owls and snakes – the most eclectic combination of God’s creatures.
We truly give thanks and glory to the Trinity for this gem of an experience!
